Quarter 4: March to June
*Art for expressing my feelings
*Art used for telling stories: children have been exposed to the narrative function of art as it is present in storybooks, films and short animations.
-Creating a Big Book: We explored this by creating a sequence of scenes through painting and collage. We created a book called: "Sea adventures"
-Creating storyboards: children draw a short comic strip about themselves.
-Creating collage storyboards: children draw themselves in the center and choose from magazine cutouts that relate to them.

Cardboard constructions: objects made out of cardboard and boxes pieces. This time, our artists are working on the facilities for Community Helpers. Look at pictures of some of these projects
.
Painting with Yarn: this was a super fun activity for our children! They enjoyed seeing how colors mixed together asnd formed new lines and shapes as they turned the yarn around!
Ms Santi and I loved these works of art and our children did too!
Eco art: art crafts with leaves, branches and other natural materials.
Quarter 2: October-December
Guided Drawing: Christmas trees
The children really enjoyed this activity. We totally recommend it for you to use it at home with them. In a guided drawing, the teacher or adult draws the desired figure in a step-by-step fashion while the child follows. Many skills are stimulated in this way: motor, listening, imagination, and art skills. Look at beautiful Christmas trees done by our little ones! :)
Fiber art: activities where children work with yarn or fabric on different materials.
Yarn wrapped snakes :)
Clay figures: Piggy and sheep
Lollypop for Moms:
Quarter 1: September- October

The children were introduced to the world of printing by using different printing tools such as sponges, stamps, objects found in the classroom and even their hands.
These are some of their results.
