Quarter 4 Activities:
Art as illustration: children have been exposed to the narrative function of art as it is present in storybooks, films and short animations. We explored this by creating a sequence of scenes through drawing and collage. the stories used to inspire them have been:
Ted the ant.
The Children's tree.

Monocromies: children have been exploring colors as they play with different tones of warm and cool colors.

Quarter 3 activities
Clay exploration: Children will explore clay as a media, its smell, texture and properties while having fun!
Eco art: art crafts with leaves, branches and other natural materials.
Quarter 2 activities
Clay Modelling: Modelling includes sculpting different figures using a ste-by-step approach. right now, we are doing playdough figures of ocean animals. Take a look at your artists creations!
Sharks and fish
Fiber art: activities that let children explore with strings, yarn or fabric.
Quarter 1 activities
Collage & Painting: Activities that involve painting, cutting and pasting paper or other materials with glue on a surface.

Coloring: Activities that involve using color pencils or crayons on coloring pages. Sometimes coloring is free and sometimes guided by teachers.
Printing: activities where children get to use paint to print objects marks on a flat surface using stamps, sponges or objects.
